AXXAIR Orbital Cutting, Prep & Welding Equipment
Cut it. Prep it.
Weld it. Prove it.
AXXAIR builds the whole chain for high purity tube — orbital saws, carbide bevellers, closed and open weld heads and the SAXX power sources that run them. One clamping philosophy from the cut to the finished weld, which is why the joints close the way the print says they should.
We carry it, we support it, and we repair and calibrate it — in our shop or on your floor.
SAXX power sources
Single phase 110–230 V on the 201 and 210, so the machine plugs in wherever the work is. Touchscreen programming with automatic parameter calculation, dual gas lines, USB data capture and weld reports for the traceability package. The 210 and 300 add arc voltage control and oscillation for heavier wall.
SATFX closed weld heads
Autogenous fusion welding inside a fully inerted chamber — minimal discoloration, clean bead, and welds that hold up to X-ray. Built for stainless, nickel and titanium alloys under 3 mm wall, in pharma, semiconductor, aerospace and food and beverage. Narrow bodies get into fitting-to-fitting spacing that an open head will not reach.
Microfit heads — X and SAMX
Instrument tube, analyzer lines, gas panels and sample loops — down to 0.118″ (3 mm) OD. The X series is built for ultra-thin wall in tight spaces; the SAMX series uses fixture blocks and cassette tooling for a wider mix of parts. The X-500 covers 0.118″–0.5″ OD, air or water cooled, if the X-750 is more head than the job needs.
SATO and OX open heads
When the wall is heavier or the fit-up needs filler, the open heads take over: adjustable torch angle, optional wire feed, and AVC plus torch oscillation on the AVC/OSC versions for real arc length control on thick wall.
Orbital saws and bevellers
Concentric collet clamping cuts without deforming thin wall, perpendicularity under 0.25 mm, burr free. The CC saw frames convert to GA beveling frames, so one machine covers cut and prep. The CC range runs from 0.25″ to 40″ OD — the sizes below are the ones that come up most; the rest of the range is available.
GA beveling — same frame, carbide inserts
What we do with AXXAIR equipment
Repair & rebuild
Power sources and weld heads. Rotors, drives, motors, cable bundles, coolant circuits, worn clamping. If it can be rebuilt, we rebuild it.
On-site calibration
We come to you, anywhere in North America. Your machine never leaves the floor and your schedule stays intact.
Consumables & tooling
Tungsten precision ground to your specification, collets and clamping jaws, saw blades and carbide inserts, purge monitors and plugs.
Training & qualification
Operator training on your own equipment, and welder qualification through our CWI testing lab partner.
Tell us the tube and the spec.
Diameter, wall, material and how many joints — we will tell you which head and power source actually fits the job.
