Worth knowing

• A 9-1500 can become a 9E-1500, 9AF-1500, 9AFM-1500 or 9CT-1500 with a conversion kit — if you own the wrong version you may not need to buy a head
• Size-specific clamp inserts, so tooling carries between jobs
• The most common head in North American high-purity work — parts are findable

What comes across our bench: rotors, drive gears, motors and encoders, coolant leaks, worn inserts, cable damage and heads that lose position. Rebuildable, and usually cheaper to rebuild than replace.

The 9-250 and 9-500 are 9 Series heads too — we list them here and give them their own micro heads page, because nobody welding quarter-inch tube goes hunting under 9 Series to find them.
